Our trainers care for each and every dog, and will make sure your dogs are properly and happily trained in performing the commands asked. Here at WooF Dogs, we offer basic, advanced and off-leash obedience, behavior modification, aggression management, and emotional support, therapy and service dog training. OUR TRAINERS

Shay Maimoni

Head Trainer/Canine Behavior Consultant

Shay Maimoni is unlike any other dog trainer. His life’s passion is training dogs; it’s not just a job. Israeli-born, Shay was exposed to military training at the age of fifteen, when he entered a Naval High School. Immediately after graduating, he joined the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). From one position to another, his abilities were tested until one of the commanders noticed how well Shay connected with dogs. He was quickly positioned into working and training military working dogs (MWD). His personal dog in the military was a three year-old Rottweiler named Boss, who served as an anti-terrorism dog. Due to the restrictions on classified military information, minimal information can be shared. However, Shay’s experience in the military piqued his interest in working with dogs in the future. Skylar Anthony

In-home Trainer

Skylar is our In-Home Trainer. She was mentored by Shay to work with dogs of all breeds and backgrounds. She is skilled in aggression management, behavioral modification, and obedience training. Her enthusiasm for dog training emerged early in life and she started out as an instructor for group dog training classes at a well-known pet supply corporation

Tomas

Onsite Manager and Trainer

Tomas is a dedicated and bilingual trainer with a passion for helping people create stronger bonds with their dogs. Born and raised in Guatemala, he began his journey at Woof Dogs as a kennel tech, where he gained extensive knowledge and experience working with various breeds.

Under the mentorship of Shay Maimoni, Tomas blossomed into a skilled trainer with exceptional instincts. His outstanding work ethic and commitment have led him to become our onsite manager and trainer.

Tomas is passionate about helping dog owners achieve a better relationship with their furry companions. He believes that through clear communication, positive reinforcement and balanced training, both dogs and owners can live happier and more fulfilling lives together.
